Swedish band Ablution was founded by bassist John Gustafson (who left the jazz band Quatermass) and keyboardist Peter Robinson (who later played for BRAND X), and former BALTIK members Bjorn J:son Lindh, drummer Ola Brunkert, and guitarist Janne Schaffer. With the participation of Malando Gassama on percussion and Barry de Souza on trumpet, they recorded a progressive fusion album with funk effects.
