Jefferson Airplane / After Bathing At Baxter's (1967)

One of the band's best albums. It has a unique structure and distinctive tones. While not as good and popular as Surrealistic Pillow, it's just as effective. A Jefferson Airplane album that you can listen to without getting bored.

Jefferson Airplane / Surrealistic Pillow (1967)

USA

Psychedelic Rock, Acid Rock, Folk Rock

Jefferson Airplane's second studio album. Maybe the best. It must be the excitement of being at the beginning of the road, there seems to be no track on the album that you don't like. Although it is an album that can be written with pages full of text on it, there is no need for it. Just listen!

Jefferson Airplane / Live At The Monterey Festival (1967)

A pretty good live album from Jefferson Airplane. It is better understood that they have moved from folk music to psychedelic rock. Grace Slick's voice is amazing on White Rabbit and Somebody To Love.

Jefferson Airplane / Live At The Fillmore Auditorium (1966)

USA

Psychedelic Rock, Acid Rock, Folk Rock

It is the first album of Grace Slick's first appearance together with Jefferson Airplane. Her voice is not very prominent in this album. But it seems to predict the future. Considering the year 1966, this album is an incredibly beautiful concert recording. The folk influence on the first album suddenly turns into psychedelic rock in this album. Paul Kantner and Marty Balin gave perhaps one of their best concert performances.

Paul Kantner (guitar, vocals), Jorma Kaukonen (guitar, vocals), Marty Balin (vocals, 1965-70, 1989), Signe Anderson (vocals, 1965-66), Bob Harvey (bass, 1965), Jerry Peloquin (drums, 1965), Jack Casady (bass, 1965-89), Alexander "Skip" Spence (drums, 1965-66), Grace Slick (vocals, 1966-89), Spencer Dryden (drums, 1966-70), Papa John Creach (violin, 1970-74), Joey Covington (drums, 1970-72), John Barbata (drums, 1972-74), David Freiberg (vocals, 1972-74)

Jefferson Airplane / Takes Off (1966)

USA

Psychedelic Rock, Acid Rock, Folk Rock

One of the most important bands in the history of rock music. Although their musical quality is debatable next to progressive rock or krautrock bands, they deserve to be at the top with both their political perspectives and their destructive effects.

Takes Off is the band's debut album. They are known for their previous appearances with The Byrds and The Grateful Dead. The album is adorned with blues and folk elements.

Progressive Rock, Psychedelic Rock

One of the best examples of early progressive rock. It's really sad that the group only recorded 1 album. But the album is so good that it is not easily erased from your memory. It is obvious that the album, which stands out with its psychedelic-inspired structure, influenced many bands and musicians that would come after them.

Demon Thor / Written In The Sky (1973)

Progressive Rock, Rock

A better progressive rock album than the first album. But it gets lost in Fortmann's understanding of pop music. It's more than boring, but that's about it. The title track of the album, Written in the Sky, is an epic progressive rock song.

Heavy Psych, Psychedelic Rock

A Heavy-Psyche U.S album in the early 70's style, led by a female voice. It is well sung and well played, with a very prominent organ. It is to be regretted that all the compositions are not of the same quality as the piece "pony" which opens the album. Deserves careful listening.

Yes, okay.. at first I thought of that weird and weird cartoon character, when I heard Marsupilami. I don't know much about them. But they probably get the name from that character. And they're just as enthusiastic, vibrant, and weird as that character. One of the overlooked but extremely good albums of the Progressive Rock era led by England.

Lynyrd Skynyrd / Street Survivors (1977)

USA

Southern Rock, Hard Rock

The album where the tragedy began. Three days after the album's release, the band boards a plane to perform at the Greenville Memorial Auditorium. But the plane crashes and vocalist Ronnie Van Zandt, guitarist Steve Gaines, Gaines' sister and backing vocalist Cassie Gaines die in the crash. The album, which was released as an LP, was immediately recalled and the cover was changed. Because the original cover group shows it on a burning street. While the album isn't bad, it's not great either.

Lynyrd Skynyrd / Gimme Back My Bullets (1976)

USA

Southern Rock, Hard Rock

The enthusiastic debut in the first album begins to leave its place to mediocrity when it comes to the fourth album. Is the album bad? No, of course not! But the traces of the first days began to fade. With its blues roots, Southern Rock is still alive, but far from creative and is about to turn into a repeat of the first albums.

Southern Rock, Hard Rock

They keep moving forward without diminishing their Southern Rock quality. It's an incredibly beautiful album that starts with the Saturday Night Special song. Railroad Song and On The Hunt are favorite tracks on the album. They're very good, but they still believe in the Confederacy. :)

Lynyrd Skynyrd / Second Helping (1974)

USA

Southern Rock, Hard Rock

Although the musical quality of the first album is declining, it is at least as good an album. They still believe in the Confederacy. In fact, Sweet Home Alabama, where they mock Neil Young, will almost become the national anthem of the Confederacy in time. It is a fact that they returned to the roots of Rock'n Roll with their debut album. But the fact that they believe in the Confederacy idea still bothers me. Still, their use of guitar is legendary. Sweet Home Alabama, The Ballad of Curtis Loew and Swamp Music are my favorites from the album.

Lynyrd Skynyrd / Pronounced 'Leh-'Nérd 'Skin-'Nérd (1973)

Southern Rock, Hard Rock

Basically loving this band is ridiculous. They have songs that contain many direct or indirect references such as incest, violence against women, racism, and even worse, they have such an idea. But their music is really good. One of Southern Rock's best bands. Tuesday's Gone, Simple Man and Free Bird are favorite tracks on the album.

Hard Rock, Boogie Rock, Rock, AOR

The band named B.T.O. on this album. used abbreviated. Maybe they did it because the album was bad. I'm kidding of course. But it's really not a very good album. It doesn't have much of a feature except that it has a better cover than the cover of the previous album.

The cover of the album is very good, but the album is not that good. It remains very simple and cheap compared to previous albums. A below average album. Adding to the archive is up to your liking and preference.
